Project Manager

Kforce has a client in Gainesville, Texas (TX) that is seeking a Project Manager. This is a contract to hire opportunity. This role supports strategic cross-business projects that improve operational effectiveness and streamline technology.Responsibilities:
Manages multiple IT projects simultaneously from beginning to end of a project life cycle
Identifies and resolves issues/conflicts within the project team
Manages changes in project scope, identifies potential crises or issues, and devises contingency plans as needed
Communicates project plans, expectations, updates, progress, issues, and successes in a timely and clear manner
Ensures that projects are completed on time and meet all business requirements
Remains central point of contact while driving deliverables on time and on budget
Prepares meeting materials, including reports, presentations, agendas and meeting summaries/minutes
Effectively leads and coordinates project teams
Conducts and leads Project Meetings both internal and external
Collaborate with the project team, internal partners, external clients, and other third parties as needed to ensure successful delivery
Minimum 3 years of hands on Project Management
Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with competing demands
Proficient with Microsoft Office (e.g. Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Visio)
In-depth understanding of and ability to apply project management methodologies
Exceptional organization and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deliverables
Effective written and verbal communication skills; strong people management skills
Well-developed interpersonal skills with diverse personalities
Ability to interact professionally and timely with customers, vendors, management, and other stakeholders
Proven team leadership experience including local and distributed teams
Ability to develop project plans

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
