Electronics Technician - 1715 Gainesville, TX

Position Overview: Responsible for the repair, setup, calibration and testing of equipment used in pressure pumping services, onsite or in the field.
Reports to: Area Manager, District Manager
Directs Reports: None
Major duties:
Tests electronic components and circuits to locate defects
Rebuilds and wires field instrumentation as required
Conducts preventative maintenance on all electronic equipment
Aligns, adjusts and calibrates equipment according to specifications
Maintains records of repairs, calibrations and test
Maintains electrical parts inventory to include ordering of electrical parts, shipping and receiving of electrical parts being sent for repair
Trains maintenance and operations personnel on electrical systems
May be requested to work outside of normal work schedule to meet customer needs
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
One (1) plus years' oil and gas experience
Extensive field troubleshooting experience
Mechanical aptitude
Knowledge of electronic control systems
Must be self-motivated with good computer and communication skills
Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening as well as background check
Electronics/technical certificate
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education
Physical Requirements:
Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
Frequent bending, twisting and standing for long periods of time
Exposure to adverse working conditions (heat, cold, rain, dust, noise, etc.)
Typical working conditions and hazards:
Work is performed in all weather conditions
Able to perform duties with protective equipment, H2S respirator where required
Potential hazards include working near or with heavy tools and moving machinery
Potential exposure to loud noises, airborne toxins, solvents, flammable atmospheres and industrial chemicals

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
