Plant Leader (Plant Manager)


Plant Leader Job Summary:


The Plant Manager is primarily responsible and accountable for making decisions that affect employee health & safety, employee relations, employee growth & development, plant production, plant profitability, quality of products, receiving/shipping, plant maintenance, customer satisfaction, and local community relationships.? Develops manufacturing budgets and plans to meet production goals within budget.? Must fully understand and implement ISO requirements and philosophies.


Day to Day Responsibilities of the Plant Leader:




  • Lead all aspects of the 24/7 manufacturing operations and development activities of the plant to achieve short and long-term goals to meet customer and company expectations.


  • Drive world-class processes in the areas of EH&S, developing a solid safety culture within the plant in order to achieve an accident-free work environment, providing prompt and effective action to eliminate unsafe acts or conditions as they become apparent.


  • Propose and execute plant operational budgets, capital budgets, sales forecasts and resource requirements.


  • Lead the manufacturing functions in the plant on all shifts to ensure on-time production and shipment of conforming products and materials.?Including: planning the production flow, troubleshooting manufacturing issues, handling staffing issues, and monitoring production orders and schedules.


  • Develop and implement sustainable manufacturing processes needed to manufacture high-quality products on time.


  • Identify opportunities for improvement across the plant in relation to process, equipment, facilities and staffing and drive implementation in a spirit of continuous improvement.


  • Maintain and control plant inventories at optimum levels to meet anticipated customer demands without excess investment.


  • Responsible for the integrity of all the plant related data and information.


  • Continually monitor results achieved in relation to planned goals, and undertake necessary corrective action to achieve the desired results.


  • Drive the implementation and execution of robust quality systems to ensure product quality meets and exceeds customer expectations.


  • Manage plant project list to set priorities and ensure they are completed in a timely manner.


  • Develop and engage with all employees in order to develop a favorable employee relations environment and work with staff members on their personal growth and development goals to ensure?employees feel encouraged and motivated to contribute at their full potential.


  • Provide leadership for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and improved working relations.

?Requirements


Experience and Education Requirements for the Plant Manager:




  • Bachelor?s degree in Business or Engineering preferred.


  • 10 years experience in manufacturing environment, including experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


  • Extensive and proven experience in Lean Manufacturing with a strong track record of leading in a continuous improvement environment.


  • Process based manufacturing experience


  • Experience with plastics preferred

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
