Kiosk Technician

Job Description

We are the #1 provider in OK for cash handling machine repairs and sales to casinos, banks and other entities. This is a direct hire position with fully paid medical insurance, 401k match, PTO, Holiday Pay and Company Vehicle.


The Kiosk Technician is responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining equipment at customer locations. This role is vital to the Company's success by providing coverage, installation support & field training when necessary, project support and general team assistance as needed. This position has potential to promote to Service Technician I, II, III and Master Technician.


Major Responsibilities:

  • Provide equipment service at customer locations; service will include installation, repair, calibration, testing and maintenance requiring use of test equipment & simple hand tools

  • Perform coin and cash handling

  • Report quality & technical problems through proper escalation channels

  • Interface effectively with team members, supervisors & managers to resolve customer problems

  • Complete service documentation as required

  • Display maturity & judgement in time management and expense control

  • Promote and maintain great customer relations through high standards of personal appearance, ethical behavior, maturity and good judgement

  • Other duties as assigned


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Requires a good working knowledge of computers, electronics, and electro-mechanical devices

  • A background in computer hardware, software and computer-controlled equipment

  • Excellent interpersonal skills focused on excellent customer service & team success

  • Strong written & verbal communication skills to interact with various levels within & outside of our organization

  • Strong project support skills with ability to organize, prioritize, execute & report on project status

  • Accountable for providing customer support that meet FEC's standards of superior quality service and professionalism at all times

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel and intermediate knowledge of current PC operating systems required

  • Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing work schedules

  • Ability to obtain gaming licensures including extensive criminal and financial background checks

  • Have and maintain a clean driving record


Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • 2+ years' experience in troubleshooting and repair of computer, electronic and electromechanical devices OR Associate Degree/Trade School focused in electronics or similar

  • Previous experience handling a position of responsibility with little or no supervision

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The worker is subject to both indoor and outdoor environmental conditions. The lift requirement is 50 pounds.
