Maintenance Electrician

Summary


The Maintenance Electrician will sets up, repairs, constructs, modifies, installs and services all types of electronic and electrical equipment, as well as, mechanical repair, installation, carpentry, and pipefitting needed throughout the Gainesville Facility.


Essential Duties


Specific responsibilities?include, but are not limited to:



  • The Maintenance Electrician interprets all electrical schematics and prints, and updates prints to reflect any modifications to equipment.? He/she maintains, installs or repairs all communication cables or wiring.? He/she also fabricates parts as required using common hand and machine tools, makes power cable splices and works with "hot lines" as required.



  • The Maintenance Electrician tests and puts into service all electrical equipment that has been repaired, moved or recently installed; wires and maintains all building and structures including lighting and fixtures; and troubleshoots all primary (up to 480v) and secondary electrical systems and control circuits.



  • The Maintenance Electrician diagnoses actual or potential problems, makes the necessary repairs, and test runs new and repaired machinery. He/She also lubricates and performs preventative maintenance on all equipment.? He/She performs all piping work such as fitting, bending and welding.



  • The Maintenance Electrician operates a variety of machines and power tools including:? metal and woodworking lathes and machines, pneumatic hammers and drills, and cutting metal torches.? He/She welds and solders all types of materials.? The Maintenance Electrician may be required to climb to and work in difficult positions throughout the plant.



  • The Maintenance Electrician operates all equipment and performs all tasks in a safe manner following all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space Entry, and Hot Works Permits.? He/she also keeps the work area clean and performs other jobs as directed.


Must have working experience with:


PLC programming/troubleshooting



  • Allen Bradley ControlLogix, CompactLogix, MicroLogix preferred

  • RSLogix500 and RSLogix5000 software experience preferred


Variable frequency drive programming/troubleshooting



  • Allen Bradley Powerflex 4/40,? 70/700,? 755 preferred


HMI programming/troubleshooting



  • Allen Bradley PanelView Plus and Wonderware preferred

  • FactoryTalk View ME Wonderware software experience preferred.


Industrial network configuration/troubleshooting



  • Ethernet, DeviceNet, and ControlNet


Education/Experience Required



  • A high school diploma coupled with a minimum of three years as a Maintenance Electrician in a manufacturing environment. Intermediate communication skills and MS Office proficiency.



  • The Maintenance Electrician has to have experience with mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, industrial electrical systems, and control systems.


Preferred



  • Associates or Bachelor?s Degree.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
