Key Responsibilities
Their primary responsibility is to review, document, and carry out quality control tests to ensure product quality and integrity. In addition, they are responsible for providing panels for new customer requests. Technician III is the entry level Quality Control position.
Panel preparation. Review, document, and carry out quality control tests to ensure product quality 80%
Assist in the investigation of customer concerns 5%
Supply shipping/admin with panels, pre-ships, and COAs as needed. 5%
Evaluate samples of materials that have surpassed their stated shelf life. 5%
Create panels for the color card, panel boards and for specific customer requests. 5%
Experience and Education
High School diploma or GED, plus 1 year's related work experience.
Individual must have the ability to master all Test Methods and job related procedures pertaining to Quality Control.
In addition, must be proficient at documenting, evaluating, and spraying quality spray-outs that are conducive to final evaluation with minimal time loss due to re-sprays etc.
Technician must have attention to detail, be able to document items clearly, and be able to handle numerous tasks simultaneously.
They must be willing to work overtime as required and have the flexibility for continuous changes in daily assignments.
Good verbal and written communications skills along with adequate problem solving skills are essential.
Computer skills and knowledge are required to work on QC computers and networks.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
