VP Human Resources

Objective:
Safran Seats, USA is seeking a Senior Human Resources leader who will report to the Seats USA Business Leader and functionally report to Safran Seats Company HR function in France.
This role entails leading global HR initiatives with oversight of HR Generalists, Business Partners and specialists in areas such as Staffing, Talent Management, Learning, Compensation and Benefits, and Labor Relations, Safety and Communications.
The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in driving diverse human resources strategies to support business objectives and HR initiatives.
Additionally, the candidate must exemplify Safran Seats USA's core values, promote LEAN, Operational Excellence, and Learning initiatives, and foster a collaborative and developmental atmosphere within the HR team.
Travel specifictity Travel:
International and/or Domestic travel required; 10-15% Education & Qualification Requirement:
oBachelor Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field required, MBA or related preferred.
oMinimum of 8 years in an HR Management role, 3 years of HR Generalist experience and 3 years in an HR supporting executive leadership role.
oSPHR or PHR certification preferred.

Responsibilities:
A) Drive a culture of performance, results and positive employee relations to provide the right coaching, action planning and assessment processes to raise the performance standard.
B) Drive consistent HR processes across all client groups.
C) Provide HR support to achieve product and functional level objectives for the business partners.
D) Work to deliver compensation, organizational development workforce planning, deployment and retention strategies to address the current and future needs of the business while ensuring a diverse and globally oriented workforce.
E) Conduct organization assessments, respond to employee feedback and develop action plans along with client leaders to drive employee engagement.
Increase organizational change management capability.
F) Lead People Review process, salary planning and incentive program, discipline and termination, labor relation, etc.
G) Coach leaders on talent management and performance differentiation.
Help develop and support highly effective manager who can assess, develop and inspire their employees.
Creating an operationalized ability to identify knowledge gaps and creating processes and tools to close the gap.
H) Effective census management to ensure an optimized organizational structure to meet changing business needs.
I) Lead HR skills growth for individual and as a team.
J) Directly participate in institutional planning and decision-making as a member of the Executive Leadership team, and provide broad leadership and coordination to the companyK) Continue and Complete HR initiatives to further define Job Classification and expectations at each level to provide clear development paths for our employees to progress in their careersL) Coach and advise senior leaders on team development and key organizational and management issues.
Develop a unified approach and corresponding tools for executive and senior leaders to evaluate, design and align their structures to build high-performing teamsM) Ensure the development, planning and management of the Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) functions in compliance with regulations and Safran Group guidelinesN) Oversee Internal and external communication for the company.
