Dura-Line is looking for an experienced and proactive Multi-Site Buyer to initiate procurement buys not only to reduce costs but ensure continuity of supply, and sources from suppliers who are innovated.
You must have a broad understanding of procurement categories & commodities, managing all site agreements and resolving issues regarding PO to invoice discrepancies, returns, quality problems or vendor related receiving issues.
If you are results-driven, self-motivated, versatile, and have extensive experience in procurement and supply chain management in a manufacturing plant environment, this role is for you! This position is ONSITE! There is some flexible as it can be any one of our North American facilities (the one near you), but you will need to live in a commutable distance from it.

Grove, MO, 65711 McAlester, OK, 74501 Gainesville, TX, 76240 Evansville, WY, 82636 North Salt Lake, UT, 84054 West Valley City, UT, 84128 Salt Lake City, UT, 84116 Sparks, NV, 89431 Collaborating with plant managers and operations teams to determine equipment and service needs will be crucial being responsible for 4 manufacturing plants within your region, resolving issues regarding purchase orders to invoice discrepancies, returns, quality problems, or vendor-related receiving issues.
You will also be implementing and optimizing vendor managed inventory (VMI) program, and putting together a successful RFP (request for purchase for material or services), analyze data, and make the best-informed decision that benefits the organization.
Technical aptitude is a must! This is a critical role in our organization, and your leadership skills will be a determining factor for our growth.
You will need at least 3-5 years of firsthand experience initiating procurement projects, cost reductions, ensuring continuity of supply, and sourcing from suppliers who are innovated.
As well, negotiating and coordinating indirect supply contracts and service agreements and procure all capital expenditures.
What else is needed to be successful in this role? We will need your strong communication as you work with cross functional teams and facilitate procurement issues between plant and finance and develop corrective actions.
In addition, a problem-solving skill set and curios-mindset to help identify solutions and coordinate all indirect supply contracts & service agreements.
A resourceful & analytical personality to compile monthly open project reports, commodity strategy sheets, cost savings summaries, and other related purchasing information.
Must be data & results driven to succeed.
You must be computer savvy and have SAP materials management in procurement experience as you will be setting up and maintaining the material master planning parameters in SAP related to MOQ, lead times, safety stocks and information records.
The demonstrated ability to be a team player is key for this role as you will be responsible for internal and external customer relationship management in working with various vendors.
