Job Description Occupational
Summary:
Design coordination of seats and seat components. Coordinates between various customers and vendors. Interfaces with Program Manager on project development and design progress. Reviews customer requirements and specification and relates them to product design. Monitors day-to-day design progress as required. Assures conformity of product and that engineering deadlines are met. Duties and Responsibilities (essential functions):
A) Confers with customers and vendors on conceptual configuration and initial design requirements for various new and on-going seat programs. B) Reviews design specifications and incorporates into assigned product. C) Prepares lay-outs of overall design task including structural and articulation systems. D) Defines design standards to maintain commonality with existing product line. E) Defines and sets goals as to complete tasks as expeditiously as possible. F) Prepares advanced bill of materials and long-lead item list. G) Review design package to assure conformance to latest specifications and regulations. H) Prepares drawings for release. I) Assumes liaison duties when product reaches the various manufacturing stages. J) Performs other duties as assigned. Complementary Description Competencies:

This position requires extended periods of sitting while working with computers and viewing computer monitors and other office equipment. Finger dexterity needed in using misc. office equipment such as telephone, computer and copy machine, etc. Bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting up to approximately twenty pounds are required during tasks related to the job. Job Requirements Qualification Requirements:
A) Knowledge and Skills:
i) Must have excellent drafting skills in CATIA V5 (or higher) and/or Pro/Engineer. ii) Requires advanced knowledge of aircraft seat products. iii) Must have good knowledge of materials and production processes, and mechanical knowledge of parts and stress conditions. Job Description Template Rev 12/13/2018 iv) Must be able to interact successfully with engineering, tooling, and manufacturing departments. v) Must be able to function as part of a design team. vi) Provide mentorship to less experienced engineers. vii) Must possess good planning and prioritizing skills. Education and
Experience:
i. Must have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Design Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Mechanical and Energy Engineering or a related engineering degree (minimum of 12 years equivalent related engineering experience will be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree) plus an additional 5 years of related design experience required. OR ii. Must have a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Design Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Mechanical and Energy Engineering or a related engineering degree plus 4 years of related design experience required.
Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
Mechanical EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
